Other awards to be announced during the Awards Ceremony are Eurobest's Agency of the Year, Interactive Agency of the Year and Network of the Year. IKEA will be honoured with the Advertiser of the Year Award, which will be presented to Claudia Willvonseder, IKEA's Global Marketing Manager.
"It's encouraging for all of us to see a more positive outlook this year versus this time last year. While entries in the more traditional categories continue to decrease, reflecting the ongoing changes within the industry, the newer categories such as Promo & Activation, Integrated, Interactive and Craft, as well as the newly-launched PR category, have seen remarkable growth," says Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions, organisers of Eurobest. "Eurobest is the place to see all the great creative work coming out of Europe across all the different disciplines and honour the great minds behind the work."
The 3rd Eurobest Festival incorporating the 23rd Eurobest Awards, Europe's largest creative advertising & communications competition, takes place in Hamburg 6-8 December. For full information on the Eurobest Festival and how to register to attend, please go to www.eurobest.com
